Peaceful rally to voice concerns about name checks
After having gone through the whole name check nightmare and finally almost to the end. I thought that i would feel somewhat better. I thought that hearing the words approved would make me feel extremely wonderful. It does make me feel wonderful but sad for all of you that are still going through it. It makes me upset that USCIS does not know how they are destroying lives with their blatant carelessness. I just want to say that all of you that are still waiting, don't give up. I just want to say thank you to this board. I know that if i hadn't found this board, i would have been waiting a much longer time.
My idea is probably one that has been thought of before but i think it's a good idea. Has anyone thought about a march just to protest the name check? Maybe a protest. Someone and i don't remember who, stated that they feel like a criminal, maybe they should turn themselves in to the local police. How about a protest like that. A whole lot of people that have handcuffs on standing outside of several police stations would be hard to ignore. Has anyone thought about that. I would be more than happy to volunteer my time. Maybe it's time we do something to really protest this namecheck torture.
