an Expired EAD renewal and E-filing??

Hello,

I am going to apply for the third (3) EAD for my wife. Her second EAD was expired in August, 04. She did not use EAD before.

Will NSC/USCIS give us some trouble when we renew EAD after our previous EAD is expired?

Does NSC/USCIS still accept paper-based EAD applications with paper photos?

Does anyone here submit a recent paper-based EAD application? What about the new photo rules?
 
Send in a paper application with photo per new requirements (passport). For some strange reason, the paper based application seems more stable; this is based on forum posts.

An expired EAD will not be a source of problem when you reapply.
 
I had applied for EAD online twice, went to ASC for photo, had both EAD approved in 2-3 months, no trouble at all.
