Amended notice from USCIS

I recieved an approval email for h1b on aug 23rd. today i got an email with the following status. i m currently on OPT which is valid till jan 2006 and the h1 was filed under regular processing on 15th april, 2005. the case was then upgraded to premium by my company on 15th august, 2005 and i got the approval on 23rd aug. but today i got the following email and so now i m worried. can this be a denial? did anyone else recieve this kind of "amended notice"? what are they?

please help!!!!

Current Status:

An amended notice on this case was mailed on September 6, 2005. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.
 
Did you find what was it, caue I got the same message on INS website. My H1 petition was approved on 19th Aug and now thw message it this

I have got the same mail last week saying that an amended notice is sent to you. I have got the approval last month and got the stamping also. Anybody knows what is an amended notice and why the USCIS sent this.

Hi,

The exact same situation happened with me. Could you please update as to what this means?
 
Guys,

Dont worry. One of my friend got the same notice. It just says that you amended your application from normal processing to premium. anyways wait for the notice copy that comes to your attorney and cross-verify.
