Amended I-140 - IGATERS - Filed during May 1st week.

Friends, did any one whose amended I-140 filed during the 1st week of May received receipt notice? Or did you
call the INS and came to know that they did see your amended I-140 in their system? Please share your info.
Mine was filed on May 4th and still waiting on the receipt notice.

Please help me understand. Could there be a reason why some folks are getting their I140 approved while others are not? That sounds foolish as we all know how things are dependent on the officer who has your case but Could there be one?? I know that I called INS last week to link the two applications. Could that have delayed??

I just read in one of the postings that INS has started opening the May 1st week mails. I think you should be getting your I140 receipt sometime next week.

Thanks intrepid. I don\'t know how long this is going to take. If they are opening up the May filings now, then, my ND would be sometime by next week. Am I right. i.e. June 15th or June 19 - 23. From that, I might need to wait for may be couple of more months based on the current trend.

why not - it is INS, so everything is possible...
