Am I still in V1 status?

Hi,
My V1 visa (as per I-94) expired on Sept 04, 2005; it was issued for two years. I applied for I-485 (application for adjust status) on october 01, 2004. My wife became US citizen in March 2005 (she was the petitoner of I-130). But I have not upgraded my status after her naturalization. My EAD will expire on June 7, 2006.

Do I need to get my visa extended? Or do I need to file any form(s) or I can just wait for an Interview call for my I-485 application?

Please help me.

Is your EAD based on pending I-485 or on V1? Also, do you have ant derivative children(V2/V3), who have immigrated with you?

Also, you didn't clarify that the I-485 was filed as IR of USC, or because your priority date becomes current, while your spouse still had GC.

My EAD is based on I-485. I don't have any kids. I don't know what is IR/USC. But my I-485 is based on marriage. My wife is US citizen since April 2005. I filed for I-485 in October 2004.

IR = Immediate Relative
USC = US Citizen

Well, you don't have to change your status. Neither you have to inform CIS. However, if you want to travel you need AP.
