I came to US on B1 Visa and got an H1 through a Company. I could only work after the approval of the H1. I was though working for the company on Cash basis without any records. Now my h1 got approved and the Company no longer has any suitable job opening for me.
Another company has offered me a job and R ready to transfer my H1 Visa. is it possible.. Do I need to have any documents etc. Will the fact that I have not worked with the company after the granting of my H1 visa, in any way effect my new H1 Visa. The other company has interviewed me and R ready to start the Job as soon as I get the letter from the INS after filing the application.

Pls comment... I am in a Limbo for this... getting wierd suggestions.
Thanks for your time.

CanI get a New H1 Visa or Transfer the current WOrk Visa

I came to US on B1 Visa and got an H1 through a Company. I could only work after the approval of the H1. I was though working for the company on Cash basis without any records. Now my h1 got approved and the Company no longer has any suitable job opening for me. Its been 30 days now since I got the H1 Doc.. and since then I am visiting the company and calling them about the Posting but in vain....

Another company has offered me a job and R ready to transfer my H1 Visa. is it possible.. Do I need to have any documents besides the H1 approval notice ( I mean specifically the Pay STabs from the First Company ) etc. Will the fact that I have not worked with the company after the granting of my H1 visa, in any way effect my new H1 Visa. The other company has interviewed me and R ready to start the Job as soon as I get the letter from the INS after filing the application.

It\'s probably possible

It\'s a matter of how to address the lack of paystubs. Discuss the matter in detail with the attorney who files your H-1 "transfer". You also may want to consider premium processing and not joining the company until approval. There are several issues that must be discussed and considered in detail prior to filing.

Mistake in H1 petition

I have noticed a mistake in my H1 petition. I am an Indian national but my country of birth is Saudi Arabia. The petition has my Country of citizenship as Saudi Arabia instead of India. If I go with this H1 petition to Mexico without correcting the H1 petition, can I safely rely on the authorities on checking my passport and coming to a conclusion that its an honest mistake on the petition? Or do you think I should get it corrected first before leaving for Mexico to get the H1 visa stamped? If I do send my petition for correction, is it a quick thing, and if not how long does it usually take?
Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Fahd
