Am I in Status - Jim, Jaxen, other Gurus pls help

I got my H1B approval with COS in March but worked with my previous employer on L1B till June because of some commitments. From June I am working for my new employer on H1B and I have paystubs also.
-Was I out of status from March to June?
-If yes, am I back on H1B status as I have started working for new employer and getting paid?
-Should I go to India and get my visa stamped now or should I wait for sometime before going for stamping?
I will really appreciate any help from the gurus as I am really worried about my status?

You were illegally employed from March till June. When USCIS approved the change of status, your status was changed and you were then in H-1B status. You were not working for your sponsoring employer and you did not have H-1B approval to work where you were working.

I would take the position that you are currently validly employed pursuant to your H-1B status. However, you were illegally employed and that may have repercussions for you in the future.

Thank you, Jim for your reply.
But does this mean that I can stay and work here now and don't have to go to India for stamping?
What kind of impact could this have in the future? GC or H1 extension?
