i've had a green card since 2001, but when i was 15 i had to move out of the US with my parents and study in another country (this lasted 2 years)..

So I stayed out of the US for 2 years because i was studying in a foreign country, but didnt file any reentry application during this.

now, if i wait the 5 years needed, will they notice i stayed 2 years out and deny me?

just wondering if staying 2 years out will disqualify me.. :confused:

also, if this does, can i join the armed forces, would that help me?

are you in US or you are still out in other country?

If you are back in US, since you did not apply for the reentry permit, i wonder how you got back here? just wonder.

im underage so they didnt really ask for anything, other then my GC that they swiped through the card reader, and just let me through

sorry i can't help much but good luck to find your answer.
i hope the 2yrs which you were away would not go wasted.
 
if you have a reentry permit you can apply four years after you return as you previous stay counts for one year.
