Am I eligible for PERM?

I am a Science Graduate (Chemsitry) from India with a post graduate diploma in computer applications from Bombay technical board. I have couple of other private course certificates too.
I am working in US since last 5 years. I had a couple of years experience in India too. My GC is already in LCA process. My employer is ready to put my case in PERM processing.
I am scared in putting my application in PERM due to not having a straight 4 year degree ( like BE)? Mine is three year degree + one year PG diploma. Should I go for PERM or not, I am really confused.

Please advise.

PERM LC is nothing to do with your H1 requirements. people without a university degree also qualify for PERM depends on the job requirements.
