Hi,
I have 3 years bachelors degree in commerce from India. I have post graduate diploma in computer application from IGNOU. I was doing post baccalaureate certificate in accounting from Portland State University and I have taken 32 quarter hours of accounting classes there, but have not finished the certificate. I have got my credentials evaluated from a foreign evaluator here, according to whom I am eligible to sit for CPA examination and I am taking those. I have got a job in a CPA firm, but the evaluator their lawyer has choosen, tells me that I don't have a bachelor degree in accounting, so I cannot apply for H1B. According to them I have a bachelor degree in computer application with a speciality in accounting.
Can anyone tell me if my studies in U.S. can be counted towards four years of education or can I apply for H1B.
Thanks
