I got email and as well as status changed for I485 as under for me, son and spouse.

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On October 5, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.


Does this mean, I am approved??
NO email for approval notice sent.

Can you please tell us if you are from India and if you are EB-2 or EB-3.My Priority date is June 2001 also.
 
Thanks for the Info.I am also in the same boat as you .PD 2001 JUNE EB3 INDIA.Hopefully they will approve my case and all others who are with old PD's.

Wow! Oct Visa Bulletin says the cutoff PD is Apr 2001 for EB3-India. USCIS surely works in mysterious ways! Congrats though.
 
Congrats. Mine is Nov. 2001 EB3-IND and was approved on Sept. 24th when EB3-IND was U. All the approvals you are seeing now were probably pre-allocated visa numbers during June. They are just waiting for name check to clear may be.

On October 6, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.
