Hello Expert(s),
I am currently working in US on an L1-B visa and my wife on depandant L-2. I got an offer from one of my friends in India for coordinating the Medical Transcriptions from US clients to his Indian company. By doing this, all the client payments would be made to my account and I would have to transfer the amount to India after taking my commission.
I havent accepted the proposal because of my visa status. Am I legally allowed to do such kind of stuff which would earn me alternate income ? As mentioned earlier , my wife is on L2 and she's got EAD . Is she legally allowed to do this ? Also how can my wife / I handle the tax side ? Appreciate your advice...
thanks
Sanjay
