All Montana IT labor going to Dallas

I have applied for labor certification from Montana and was wondering when my lawyer told that it had gone to dallas for federal. My company is actively hiring all the time, has had zero layoffs till date and has perfect record. Then I looked at IT labor certifications applied from Montana in flcdatacenter.com and found for about 10-12 companies I know ,that all LC from montana companies goes to Dallas, regardless of RIR or non-rir. Does anyone know why this is happening, certainly not every company in montana has a bad record?? Gurus, please give your opinions what is happening.

If thats the case, it seems pretty scary

If thats the case, it seems pretty scary as Dalls DOL is 1/2003 & 08/2002 for cases with problems (which I guess are transfer from Montana). Pinky are you sure about t, have you checked with lawyer. Actually I am also almost on verge of accepting employment from a Montana based company.
Gurus pls let us know the real fact....

thanks,

Actually I dont believe that they are problem cases. How can all the companies have problems, i have checked with about 15 IT companies , many of which are very big and very profitable, who have filed labor since jan 2003.
It could just be that denver doesnt handle IT cases from montana at all(regardless of rir or non-rir)

check out the 'Denver DOL' thread

It is somewhat murky, check out the thread I mentioned, we assembled the latest rumors and experiences there.
If I recall it properly, somebody got his 'non-RIR' IT case through limited review in Denver.

The thread 'Denver DOL' is right here in the labor-cert forum.

Hadron,
Could you please let us know the URL of the thread you mentioned where it has collection of latest rumors..

thanks,

Even my employer told me that South Dakota is sending IT cases to Dallas. Does anybody knows more about it ??

Co

The 'certifying officer' (CO) for the Denver office is physically located in Dallas, TX. The guys in the Denver office have a stamp with his signature and are able to certify certain cases, not others.
This trip to Dallas apparently involves some of the IT cases. There is no ready pattern whether this only involves 'RIR', 'limited review non-RIR' or all IT cases. (Some people apparently have gotten IT cases certified fom the Denver office).

Whats the real situation in Montana?

I would really appreciate, if someone could throw some light on the real situation about Montana Federal labor thru Denver? If anyone recently got any information please share... I am on the verge of accepting employment from a Montana based company.
Also as a matter of fact, the DOL web site for foreign labor certification shows Montana SESA RIR status as N/A? does it mean that it does'nt process RIR ?

Thank you in advance...

I would interpret it in one of two ways. Either they haven't provided any data to DOLETA, or they are current. I think it is the latter (personal unfounded opinion, not based on experience with MT SESA. I just dealt with North Dakota in a non-IT job)

I think you should go ahead and accept but insist on using a good lawyer who will ensure your application goes to denver. looks like a good lawyer is making the difference.
