Recently my I-140 got approved. I am going to Pocket 3 within days. I opted for cp. Now after receiving Pocket 3, to where I have send it.(to NVC or to US consulate). My attorney said that according to new law we need to send Pocket 3 to NVC along with $260 as Visa issuance fees.Please go through the following email from my attorney.
"The $260 is a visa processing and issuance fee which we must send to the National Visa Center with your immigrant visa application forms. This is a new procedure being used by selected consulates including Chennai - whereas we used to send the forms only, directly to Chennai, we now must send the forms and fees to the National Visa Center, which then forwards your complete file to the consulate for appointment scheduling"
