All Benefit As a Green Card Holder

Hi friends , I tried to search for older post but I could not find.... I have a questions , I think other new LPR wants to know either ..

What are the beneft as a US Green Card holder other than :
1.live & work legally in US, 2.having a fire arm, 3. can stay in US as long as we want, 4.can travel to some other neighbour coutry without visa, 5.have a property in US and finally can apply for citizen when eligible.

Is that all? No anymore treat? like pure free school for children, free medical benefit (with the new Health Act) or other benefit, so people encourage and strong to maintain our GC status ?

Thank you friends and my senior for your post, I wish this post can valuable for fresh new immigrant and other older GC holder but so far they never realized they also eligible for this benefit..

In short I'd say GC is the same as U.S. citizen except right to vote, travel restriction, eligibility to get goverment jobs.

You don't need a green card or citizenship to own real estate in the US. People can buy houses when they're on work visas. And if you have the cash to buy it, you don't even need a visa.

I definitely would not say the GC is the same as citizen EXCEPT. Those are big EXCEPTS..... I am USC and husband is a GC holder. The residence requirements to his home country (which I have res there) is much more relaxed. We have a successful business that happens to be based elsehwere, since we used to live there and still run it from the US. They (US)allowed us in/granted his GC w this knowledge/income/ etc yet now I am wondering about harrassment everytime he/we go to his country to check on our business..and visit .on our way back in...
