alien number confusion

Hello,
      The Alien # for my 485 notice was A77 8XXXX. It was the same for my finger print notice also.
But when I obtained my EAD it became A77 2XXXX. I came to know about this when Senator office sent enquiry. My wife\'s Alien # is correct.

Now INS is saying my Alien # is A77 2XXXX.

I am confused. Why should EAD & Parole matter for processing 485 ? Anyone has suggestions or advice regarding this ?
Anyone has this experience before ?

About Alien number

A77 8XXXX series is for Aliens from Mars. The A77 2XXXX series is for aliens from another galaxy itself.These aliens are supposed to have two horn-like antennas jutting out of their heads.
Do you have something similar ?

Just kidding! Don\'t worry too much about it.Go by what INS has in their final records.

A#

I have two A#s from CSC. I got my EAD from local INS and has a different A#. I asked why. They said OK. But you should use the # on your I485 receipt.

I got different A# from different INS documents too. Never worried the thing, it\'s OK. After FP, AVM says "Process resumed".
