Alien Number 1485 140

Hi,

I dont have alien number assigned on my I140 approval and I have the alien number assigned during I485 on the biometric appointment.


I was trying to find out if this is normal or am I missing anything?


Could anyone please inform me if I am ok?

If you have your A# on I-485 reciept then that is your A# and same will be on your EAD AP, Fingerprint notice and in future you need to write that A# on any forms

Hi Askthequestion, I din't know LC and I-140 could be approved so fast that too on EB3.....how come you had PD? Isn't there a long wait? Might be a stupid q for me to ask .....

I also filed my EAD 08/28...so if your EAD is approved - would be great if you could post, I have heard that currently, even 90 days is not easy for USCIS as so many people have filed for EAD...and they are taking more like 120 days.....

FYI....

I had an Alien# with my 140 approval. With 485 I got a new Alien Number. I was informed by USCIS Tier II person, that there is seperate official that handles A# consolidation. In anycase the A# that you will get with your 485 is the final one that will go with all of your other apps.
