I know several people who won the DV lottery and something that struck me is that they were around 24...27 years old when they won the lottery. Definitely under 30. I've never seen anyone older than 30 to win the visa lottery.
I haven't seen any explicit age restrictions, but I do wonder if there are hidden controls in the system to bias the lottery towards young people?
Or could it be just that younger people are more inclined to apply to the visa lottery?
