After reinstatement: Travel URGENT

Hello, here
I came in US in 2002, been out of statut for 7 months, and then got reinstated. Today, I taking college course. But, I want to renew my visa in Canada in 2 weeks.
I saw somewhere that if you had lost your statut, you can not renew your visa anymore. Is the case even after been reinstated by the Immigration officer ?
Please, help me out
 
Please, nobody knows about my case..I see, maybe, you will read my post if i will be refused this visa and lost 43 credits...lol
