as soon as my priority date becomes current, how long do I have to wait to receive my documents from USCIS?

Will USCIS send to me my documents in that same month that my priority date becomes current?

I read on the internet that sometimes USCIS sends out the documents 2 months after your priority date becomes current? Is this the norm?

I checked with one immigration lawyer and he said that I can request for the documents 6 months before my priority date becomes current.

But when I told my personal lawyer about this, he said to wait for USCIS to send the documents to him and he will inform me

:(
