we had the interview on 11/16 around 8:30-9:30 a.m. The officer told us that you have been approved, and will receive your GC in one week. She said that they don't do stamp any more. In the afternoon on 11/16, I received an e-mail from USCIS, the e-mail stated your interview scheduled in this case has been canceled. You will be notified if the interview is rescheduled.

So I went to USCIS website to check the status of my case, but when I typed in my case number for I-485, the following message was showing:

The status for this Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the National Customer Service Center.

Anyone have any idea what's going on here? I am so confused now. Any advice! Please help!

I got the same message when I checked the web site after my interview. I couldn't get the passport stamp because it was pending the name check. I received my GC 67 days after the interview.

I think that messages appears once your AOS interview has been approved. Don't worry, you'll have you GC in the mail soon.

You already had your interview and your GC was approved. So its safe to ignore the email from USCIS as it doesnt make sense. If it makes you feel better, you can get an INFOPASS appt and hear the same thing from an immigration officer. Many others here have seen their case not being available online after the AOS interview. This means you should see your Gc in mail pretty soon. Congrats and Good Luck!
