Hello everyone,Im so glad for this forum,I hope someone is or was in the same situation as mine and can help me and give me some hope...Yesterday(july 21) we had an interview.Was two officers in the room.Young lady ,she was interviewing us and older just sitting and listening..She askedsimple questions..How did we met,where,how long do we live together,what do we have together?We showed her all the documents,pictures,our son birth certificate.(he is 16 months old)We are almost two years married.So I thought everything went well.At the end of interview she said,that they wil do the background check and we receive the decision in the mail..I was shocked...I asked how long does it takes,and she told me she doesnt know,It may be week or two,but she dont know..And we left..I was still shocked.When we got home I cried.Is anyone had simular situation,please let me know I don't know what to think.maby she was an entry level officer and couldn't make the decision yet.I really dont know.I had a friend,they had an interview 5 minths ago and the officer told them the same day that she was approved.I know every case is different..please let me know your situation,thank you and good luck to everyone..

why would you cry? people got denied for stupid reason, stand still and fight for their rights, you went through interview without denial and you are crying??
its totally normal not to have decision on the spot and being suprised 2 weeks later with welcome letter, no biggy.

Need help on case pending since 2007.
Had interview feb 2009. Filled marriage based application in 2007.Have been going for info passes all i get is that my case is under review and at the last info pass i was told that my case would stay under supervisory review for about 7 years. Please help me. What should i do? I-130 not approved yet.

Go to your congressman! I did that twice and both times they made CIS get back to me with the valid response.
Hello.I had my interview on july 21/09 with no decision..Like I wrote above..And I have checked my case status online.It said..On July 21 we sent you a welcoming letter!!On july 24 card production ordered!!!!Im so happy it was so fast!!Good luck to you!!and thanks for your support

Hi, if you don't mid could you please tell me which city was your interview in? My friend just had his interview in chicago last week and they did the same to him. Lady said she will mail the decision in the mail. This was parent/son relaation based i-485 interview.
