Hello everyone, so we had our immigration interview in Texas ( I am asking for my spouse, as a US Citizen) we went, the officer didn't have any issues whatsoever, told us everything looked good and that we should expect to receive our response in about 2 - 4 weeks (this interview was 2 weeks ago) Yesterday in the mail we received 2 different letters, both asking my spouse to appear again at the place where we had our interview for "an official matter" in a month from now, at two different times in one day,.. it doesn't request any documents, etc. we are very nervious because we have absolutely no idea on what this is in regards to, if its normal, or if there's something wrong in our application.. I already called USCIS customer service and they were not able to give me any information in regards to my case.. Has anyone had a similar situation? we haven't even received our temporary travel or work documents and we are wondering if we will have to wait one more month for this too, we have family across that we haven't seen in months and were hoping to be able to travel during the holidays.. if anyone can share some insight on this it would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

Are you aware of any reason for her to be nervous? Such as a criminal record, immigration violations in the past, registering to vote, failing to file taxes, or discrepancies in how she got her green card?

Nope, I'm the one petitioning my husband, I've never failed to file taxes, no criminal background, I just became a US . Citizen in December, but I am not registered to vote yet. Could this be an issue?

I meant is there anything SHE did or didn't do that would give her a reason to be nervous, not what you did or didn't do.

My initial reaction was "stokes interview" but then I re-read your post. So both the letters are for her and her only to appear? Nothing addressed to you? Do either of the letters ask her to bring her sponsor with her?

Me Too! Just received a letter saying I need to go to the "Follow-up interview" on Jan 2015. I went to my first interview the Nov. 2014 and (since of the lack of preparation?, I think, ) the IO didn't give us any decision and said just wait..
I'd better get prepared well this time.

My guess is that you may be asked to appear for a I-130 interview. If the second letter is identical to the first one, then I would assume that they sent you a duplicate in case the first one gets lost. I had the same thing happen to me before. Even though it only asks your spouse to appear, you should go with her.
