After I589, does less than 12 years old kids need do fingerprint and interview?

After I589 form sent to Ahaheim asylum office, How long could we get the receipt, how long get notice for the FP?
does less than 12 years old kids need do fingerprint and interview? thanks a lot! thanks a lot!
 
Receipt: About two weeks
FP: about two weeks after receipt
No fingerprinting for 12 year old kid, but may need to be taken picture of, and will have to come to interview.
 
Only children under the age of 14 and older adults over the age of 79 do not require fingerprinting. So your 16 yrs old child will need finger printing.
