after getting my GC via NIW

My wife and I got our green cards through my NIW application. Now I decide to leave US for a better business opportunity and may end up with giving up my GC, while my wife will stay and probably work in the US for the next five years or so. Will the action of my GC relinquishment invalidate her PR status? Will it cause some problems for her future citizenship applications?

Thanks in advance if you could suggest where to find the answer?

your action will not invalidate your wife's Permanent Resident status

Sugarmi:

If you give up your Green Card, your action will not invalidate your wife's Permanent Resident status, and it will not cause any problem for her future citizenship application also.

After your wife received her Green Card, her immigration status in U.S. is no longer related with your immigration status. Any immigration action your took has nothing to do with her immigration status in U.S. She can apply for U.S. citizenship after 5 years of her Green Card without your sponsership or signature, and only her own qualification will be judged by USCIS officers at that time.
