After getting green card are there any restrictions?

After getting my green card can I join any company without any restrictions. For e.g. I want to work in Hotel industry rather than computers. Do I have to have anything like AC21 or any other forms. Or am I free like a bird to do any job I want. One friend says that I have to work with my company for some time and then I can change.

post GC jobs is a heated topic of discussion here. My personal opinion is u r free to work for any company/job after ur GC. many people in my company do the same thing and nobody had any issues. As far as I know, there is NO such law which stops you from working for any company/job after GC.
