Any idea how long is the one needs to work with the same employer after
GC is approved. Can the employer screw up your GC if you leave too soon(how soon is too soon). Anybody heard of such a case at all. Can USCIS revoke your GC in this case. Such a thing happened before?. Your inputs appreciated.

Velailla,

Did you get your I-485 approved?. My RD is 3/9/2005, close to yours. Struck in Name Check.

Yes, approved couple of days ago. Mine too was stuck in Name Check. After congressman inquiry to FBI it got cleared.

General guideline is 6 month in good faith.
Sometimes employer makes you sign for 1 year after GC.

IMO, there is only very slim risk even if you change your job
right after GC except that you'll probably have to re-imburse
lawyer's fee your employer paid....

I know it's theoretically for "future" employment but when GC
takes multiple years (and AC21 exist), the legal interpretation
of that "future" becomes vague, IMO. So a good lawyer would
be able to argue on that even if you get into the worst situation,
IMHO.

So if some great opportunity comes up for my career, I would
take a risk but hey every one should make a decision on their
terms.
