What\'s the procedure to get the stamp on the passport?

After you get the approval notice, what do you do to get the temporary stamps? Where do you go?
 
Normally the 485 process takes about an year!

It doesn\'t matter when you get your fp done.
For e.g. at NSC it takes about an year no matter
when you get your fp done!...So look for the processing
times of your service center and calculate accordingly...

It depends upon the procesing time not when the FP has been done.
I know some friends who have done their FP\'s in Jan/Feb 2001 and still
waiting for Approval.
