After Approval? when will card be mailed

My 485 approved on OCT3. I got the notice in mail on Oct10.

what time frame will i get the Physical Card. Do I need to go for stamping?

My wife's approval date was 10/02/2006. Online update stated the approval on 10/03/2006. She got her card by mail on 10/07/2006 (Saturday).

Sequence of status change

Hi Poong,
What is the sequence of status change and e-mail alerts ?

I have the online status as "Approved and notice mailed". However, I already have an e-mail which states "...after approval, a card has been ordered".

What are the sequence of status message change online ?

Sequence is as follows:

1. "Approved and notice mailed."
2. "Card Ordered and mailed."

It is entirely possible, as it happened in my wife's case, that she received her card first. Her approval notice came in mail 2 days after that.
