Hi All,

Atlast my I-485 has been approved and passport stamped at INS-Boston office today. I have been a passive participant to this discussion group for the past couple of years.

Many thanks to Rajiv and fellow immigrants for keeping this discussion forum a healthy place for sharing information.

Here are my details:

Priority Date : March 7th, 1997
Labour Approved: April 28th, 1998
I-140 Approved on July 20th, 1998
I-485 RD : Sep 8th,1998
Finger prints done (first time) : April 4th, 1999
RFE (Asked for photoes, I guess my lawyer forgot to send them): May 11th, 2000
RFE received : May 18th...

Finger prints expired...
Finger prints (Second time) : Oct 10th, 2000
I-485 Approved : Nov 16th, 2000 (for both my wife and I)
Passport Stamped : Dec 4th, 2000

what time did you go, how long is the wait and the documents you took

Got in at 11:30... took the ticket and got passport stamped at noon..

Took passports, ead cards, advance parole cards, courtesy copy of approval notice..

Imperi, Congratulations. I have a question for you.
After the first rfe when did you receive the notice for re fp?
I am in a similar situation. My Fp was done on 6/99. Do they take 2 or 3 months to send out a fp?Nd-12/98. Wanted to find out how much time it will take for them to issue fp. IIO said it will take 60 days.

My response to RFE was received on May 18th...My finger prints expired in the first week of August.. Called IIO, was told that case moved to finger prints section..Got an finger print appointment on Sep 10th for October 10th week...

If I dare to guess, I would say that it will be 60 days from date of expiration !!!!
