After a long wait I-485 approved !!!

Guys,

I received my I-485 approval yesterday (01/21/2002) after waiting for
nearly 4 years.

PD-2/98 ND-10/99 1st FP-01/2000 2nd FP-10/2002 Approval - 01/21/2002.
EB3 India.
Applied for 3 EAD\'s and two Advance parole.

Haven\'t yet received my wife\'s approval yet. Planning to go for stamping
in a day or two.

This discussion group had been very useful for me.

Mine case is same as yours My 2nd FP was done on 11/27/01 when was urs done.
Just trying to gestimate. BTW did U hear it or received actual notification. What date ur case was approved ?

I got my second FP done on 10/23/2001. I checked the AVM and it
still says my case is pending, but I received my I-485 approval
notice by mail on 01/21/2002.

Since my case was pending for a long time I had to go thru
Senator\'s office. I have been following up my case thru Senator\'s
office since May 2001. My first FP expired on May 2001 and it took
few more months to follow up and get my 2nd FP. After that senator\'s
office told me to wait for two months and as it was chirstmas time
during the month of December 2001, my case was assigned to an officer but was not approved until January 2002.
