After 6 Years of H1, Could we stay ?

Hi all,
I am completing6 years on H1 shortly and planned to go back.
Could you help me with
a. After 6 yeras is complete, could I stay for few weeks here in US, without working (jUst to wind up liesurely)?
b. Does this create any problem If I want to comeback after 1 year?
c. If I want to comeback, when does the clock start for 1 year. ? After I leave the country or as soon as I stop working here?

You should file for an extension with Immigration (BCIS) if you want to remain for a few weeks afterwards. I'm not sure how it works, but, have heard this should be done about 30 days before the current I-94 expires.

Always thought one had 30 days to leave after H1 expired, but it's only 10 days.

Clock starts when you physically leave the U.S.
