Hi Akbari Bhai.. I was really thinking about you after I saw Visa Bulletin yesterday and taught you were done as you didnt appear much here.

Probally they are checking if we old applicants are still alive for them to process further, The process they follow is really very bad.

I cant do any thing about this,

Hope you RFE is not complicated and hope you get ur approval soon.

Thank you Green..

Let us see..

I pray that you get out of this painful waiting soon too.

Take care.

Sincerely,
Akbari

Wow!!! I logged in to-day after almost a month just to check if any of the old guys case is moving and I got your good news!!! all the best Akbar. I think things are surely moving.

RFE could be anything....these are the most common,

1) EVL - Employment Verification letter
2) I-94 - status inquiry on the person to prove lawful status since last entry into US before filing I-485

I think it is a good sign that they are finally working on your case. Unless EB3 India becomes unavailable as well, you should see something positive shortly given your 1998 PD. Man! Yours is the earliest case I've seen in a long time. Best of luck.

Thank you people...

Green, Banta4gc,zgreen,ghebauer, noshs and other well wishers..

thank you very much.

I will update the forum about RFE.

Please continue praying for me. Thank you. I am damn tired.

Coming July 20, I will be completing 20 years in this country. No complain. Just lots of anxiety lately.

I pray that nobody goes through this painful journey to fulfill the desire to become Permanent resident. Remember one thing though, God knows about your suffering and you will not be over burdened by the Almighty. He knows about our capacity to handle pareshaani

PEACE TO ALL.

Good to know that your case is moving forward. You will receive your long awaited GC soon.
Does not the RFE letter mention where to send the result? Others who had received similar RFE will be able to help you.

hi,

I received a call today from USCIS.

Some lady asked me if my case is still pending and what is my labor certi date.

I told them that my labor cert date is around March 2000 and I-485 RD is Mary 2003.

She told me that they are doing some research and will send me results in mail. She did not tell me what researh is she doing.

Any body else in the forum have come across such incident, please let me know what is this.
