after 485 is filed, is presence in US necessary for FP?

Hi,
I am planning to travel to India in Jul after filing 485 in June. If i get a FP notice while i am away, is that going to be a problem? Can we reschedule the FP appointment to any time suitable to us, like 2 months further down when i will be back here?

like 2 months further down when i will be back here?
-------------------I think once you send request to reschedule it is going to take more than 2 month for second date
