After 4 years 10 months ...... Finally Approved

PD 9/96 EB3 converted to EB2 in late 1999. Got Labor and I-40 approval in April 1997, the Priority date crap started in early 1997, waited around 2 years for PD to get current.
Just when it was one week for my PD to get current in EB3 category in June 1999, everybody became current in July 1999. Company delayed in filing I-485 for some reasons by 3 months costing me another year in wait.

Left Employer in 1997 April, employed with a Bodyshopping consulting firm who was planning to shuttle me across all over USA on projects.

Joined them back in June 2000 after getting my EAD thru them.
ND 11/1/99,
RFE\'d for Pay Stubs. RFE recd by INS 5/14/01.
Approved 7/3/01.

I have the same RFE receive date as you but still no approval.

Simple case, EB2, PD current for 10 months, no job change, no company name change, no out-of-status, no crimal record, nothing missing in the file, and still no approval after 53 days of receiving RFE (for updated employment letter) and 50 days assigning with an officer.

Guess you are still more lucky than me. Enjoy!

GCvscsoon , call up VSC and speak to an IIO.

I called them 30 days after they recd my RFE. The IIO said that case is with an officer and normally takes around 30-60 days. Told me to call them up again on 7/15 if I do not hear by then.

So I guess they approved it before 7/15, i.e. 60 days of RFE.
