After 3 years to Apply for Citzenship?

Guys,
I remember somebody post some Info about a legistlation in the house about decreasing the waiting time for citzenship after getting the GC from 5 years to 3 years.Any update about that?

Can you imagine this got passed with legalization of illegal immigrants? It will certainly turn Immigration into an over-crowded application warehouse! I won't be surprised if they set legalization of illegal immigrants as top priority, in order to get some tax/fine revenue to close the budget deficit. If that becomes law, yes, 3 years you can apply for N-400, but it takes 3 years to process.

I may sound a little selfish but truely this is not good for us, UNLESS IT GET PASSED ALONE (which I think is nearly impossible.)
