I am a native USC, married to a Brazilian then-
h1B holder in 2004. We filed complete package in 6/2004 (MSC) and had interview and "approval-pending-NC" 8/4/05. So we have been in NC pending with no updates to our online status for 2 years. Suddenly yesterday we received an email notice informing that the I130 had been approved. The only related actions we've taken in the recent past have been renewals of AP and EAD. So we're cautiously optimistic again.
Has anyone been through similar? Is this a possible pre-cursor to 485 approval notification?
