Afraid of needles

Dear all,
The company I work for is going to sponsor me for a green card and I would like to know how long it takes approximately, from the moment the case is started, to start doing the medical exams? I would like to know as well what kind of exams are involved. I know this could sound like a silly question for many of you but it is very important for me to know this since I have a phobia to needles (please, don’t ask why) in case they are used.
Please fill the blanks
Stage 1. Labor certification (how many months??)
Stage 2. Company I-4- Petition (how many months??)
Stage 3.Employee I-485 AOS in CIS (how many months?? Is here where I have to do the damn medical?)

Processing time probably depends on individual's circumstances, but here
is my case, Hope it helps.

LC filed : 4/29/02
LC approved: 11/17/04
I485/I140/EAD/AP filed: 12/15/04
EAD and AP approved: Sometime in March/05
I485/I140 approved: 5/24/05

My case was RIR.

As for Medical exam, Turberculosis skin test, syphilis, HIV test etc were
done. And you need to provide vaccination history of Masles, Mumps, Rubella,
Varicella according to my exam record. If you failed to provide these info, you
need to take vaccinations.. I took 5 shots in 5 mins since I did not provde
vaccination proofs. Medical exam is before I485 filing.
