Affidavits of support(how many times)?

My sponsor said he had previously supported somebody in another visa category for a green card(not dv) in 2006 but he is still prepared to sponsor me. That case is still pending and the person has not been issued a visa yet.The reason is pending is not because he is the sponsor.
My question is can he sponsor a family of three in my case? Will it affect me in any way if he does during my interview which is shortly ahead.

I need answers pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
 
he can still sponsor your family, if his income is enough to cover "the other family", his family and your family. Did he submit I-864 for them or I-134? most likely I-864...

If his income is sufficient, it will not affect you negatively. And since the other person's case is still pending, his affidavit didn't "kick-in" yet.

You've been such a wonderful advicer and I appreciate you alot.I called KCC upon your advice in my first thread and they gave me my interview date.I will ask my sponsor to go ahead then.Once again thanks alot.
 
and you don't need to give the consular officer the affidavit until he asks for it. And he may not. :)

My wife won the DV. We are having our interview on July-2.

Regarding Affidavit of Support

1. I have a joint account in the US with ~ 25K - Will this be enough for all three of us OR do we have to still execute AOS for the kid or either of us?
2. Also - I had worked from 2004-2006 in US and have joint returns for self & wife for all 3 years (though wife's income was 0). Will this be useful?
3. I requested a relative of mine in US to file AOS for all three of us. He was a little apprehensive because he filed AOS for many others. Do we really need an AOS ?

Any other information of help will be appreciated?
