Hi everyone,

can anyone tell me any experiences they have had regarding affidavit of
support requirements. Especially the new form 864-W. Is it true that we
are now only required to send regular Social Security earnings statement
that shows the years worked, earnings, and credits earned. Is this the regular
statement that we get once a year about three months before birthday?
We no longer have to send certified earnings statements? Is that right?

Also, has anyone had any problems when they go for either fingerprinting or
during the interview with an expired passport?

I don't know about SS earnings stmt, but i know that the sponsor is only required to submit a copy of the last year's return. In my case i have only been working for less than a year and haven't filed my returns for last year so I just submitted a copy of my W2 as a joint sponsor for my kids.

My passport was already expired when I had my FP but I never had any problems with it...
