Affidavit of Support

A cousin of mine has won the green card lottery and has the interview scheduled for November 8.
He is asking me for an Affidavit of Support.
I live in the USA, have enough income, but I am not a citizen or green card holder.
I currently have an H1B visa.

Do you think I can still sign an Affidavit of Support?

You should call USCIS

I'm not sure but I think you have to be USC or permanent resident to be a sponsor. Just call USCIS and ask them!

you can sign I-134 if you are not a USC or LPR. :) That's the affidavit needed for DV immigrants. Now, I-864 (for family immigration) needs to be signed by only a USC or LPR.
