Affidavit of Support of I485 RFE

Part of my I485 asked for "affidavit of support for my family", anybody has experience answering this FRE, particularly:

1) Do I need to file form I-134, or a simple letter stating my support for the family is enough?

2) Is the I-134 what I need to file, or I have to file some other forms?

They have sent me I-864(Affidavit of Support) for my wife, to bring it to the Interview. I filled it and took it to the Interview and got approved.
 
GC-4-ALL,

I actually ask a lawyer about this, he himself is not sure which one to file so he suggested me to file both (I-134 and I-864).

Since the RFE does not specify which form to file, I just filed I-134 since it seems that I-864 is very similiar to that, will keep you posted.

I have a question: Were you already a GC holder when USCIS sent you the I-864 form?

I was trying to fill out both I-134/I-864 as suggested by my lawyer, but I realize I-864 needs proof that I am either a US citizen or GC holder, which apparently is not applicable to me since I myself is filling I-485 at the same time.
