affidavit of support - not filling taxes (working off the books)

Hey everyone, i have a question....

My girlfriend is a dancer at clubs/bartender and she gets pay cash, so she hasn't filled taxes the last 3 years....to the goverment she is unemployed...I really dont know which explanation she could give about not filling taxes....

Will we be able to go through the process with a joint sponsor?

Yes, with a joint sponsor. Please tell your girlfriend to file AND pay taxes. That is how this country works, the government runs on our taxes. Freeloading is not the American way.

Yes, of course im gonna tell her to start paying taxes...if she had now this would be MUCH easier.

As far as i know she will need to attach a letter explaining why she hasnt filled taxes?

(and yes, we have a joint sponsor)

As far as i know she will need to attach a letter explaining why she hasnt filled taxes? Preferably she can claim her earnings were below the level required to file taxes. She can also estimate her earnings and file back taxes. Maybe something like $10k a year, probably will not have to pay anything since it is so little. Do some research on it, not a big deal but it can open a whole can of worms for her employer.
