Affidavit of Support (form I-134) in I-485 application

My I-140 was approved, now I'm going to apply for AOS and my hsuband is applying it with me. My husband also has a full-time job and earns higher salary than I do. My lawyer told me to submit an Affidavit of Support (form I-134, not I-864 that is used for family-based AOS) in my name for him to show that he won't be a public charge. I was also told to list him as a partial dependent in the form. My questions are 1) Is it correct to state he's my partial dependent even though he can completely support himself with his salary? 2) Do I have to submit this form? 3) Instead of form I-134, can my husband provide his employer letter and pay stubs, etc., to demonstrate that he won't be a public charge? I'm earning a low salary, and we have two children, so I'm arfraid the I-134 form will give visa officer the impression that the whole family depends on my low salary and hence jepordize our applications. Thanks.
