Hello, a couple of question, need clarification please. I need to submit affidavit of support for my mother's I-130, questions:
1. Since I file taxes married filing jointly, do I also need to av my wife fill form I-864 for my mom as well since she is part of same household as me. (my individual income/W2 is more than enough to qualify for my mom.)
2. I didn't file taxes for year 2011 yet because we didn't receive my wife's W2s yet, should I file affidavit of support with taxes 2010, 2009, 2008 and include my W2, recent pay stubs or should I wait to file this year's taxes first?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

1. No, your wife doesn't need to file I-864 or I-864A if your own income is sufficient. But you still have to submit the joint tax returns. Although the returns are joint, the tax returns would have your individual incomes listed, and you would still list your individual income in the appropriate section of the I-864.

2. 2011 taxes aren't due yet, so it's your choice whether to provide tax returns for 2008/2009/2010 or 2009/2010/2011. Don't include your wife's W2, since your own income is sufficient.
