Advise for DV 2013

Dears,
as you can see from my signature i am a dv2012 winner but with a high case number, and maybe my case number will never be current so i am really worried if i did wait to the end of sep 2012 and nothing came up that will cost me to wait to participate in DV2014.
so is it wise to enter the DV2013 just in case something goes wrong or it is prohibited to do such a thing?

there isn't anything that would disqualify you from getting your visa even if you enter yourself in the 2013 lottery, nor is there anything that would disqualify you from the 2013 lottery because you were selected in 2012 lottery. you can safely fill your e-dv application for 2013

You can still play DV2013 even if you won the previous year. Goodluck guys for those who are playing DV2013. Only a few days to begin

It would make sense for those who have a high case number. If one has a low case number, winning in DV2013 would not help.

If you number is high you can do one of 3 things, Do nothing and hope you get processed under your current number, enter 2013 and hope you get either processed as 2012 or 2013 ( although there is little chance of winning a second time ) Don't enter 2013 and enter 2014 if you don't get processed in 2012. There is no problem with entering multiple lotteries.
