Back in Dec. of 2000 I was arrested for shoplifting..went to court in january 2001 and pleaded not guilty...the charges was admended to Disorderly conduct 209-7 and pleaded guilty to those charges which was a violation of town ordinace and paid 100 in fine and in 2007 got the arrest record expunged. My question is will they deny my application for US citizenship. I have answered yes to question 16,17,18 and also enclosed the expunge order with my application. your advice will be greatful. Thank you in advance.
 
A disorderly conduct conviction based on a town ordnance violation from 2001 by itself is not something that would cause a denial. You should be fine.
