HI all,
My I-140 case was approved on feb7 02 at CSC
Want to apply for I-485 this week.
Is there any time period ( latest ) by whihc I have to apply
for I-485.
My project ends on April 30 th 02 and right now still company
has not got an assignment for me.
Am an ASIC engineer with 5+ yrs experience.
Should I go ahead with I-485 application to get EAD for me and wife.
Company will not pay me afetr May 7 th till I get an assignment.
Am planning to file I-485 through the same company lawyer
Company wont pay for my I-485 adjustment and my wifes which is about
$1070 for I-485 , EAD and AP.
Option 1 is not to get my H1-b trnasfered and wait till my EAD.
How long does EAD take to get ?
Also if i-485 is filled and I do a H1-b transfer before 180 days
will my GC process be over.
Any commnets would be appreciated.
