Advice please on AP

I applied for I-140/I-485 concurrent in Nov 02. Received EAD in Jan '03 and fingerprint in Jan'03 as well.

I have still not received AP and my lawyer says BCIS wouldn't really be able to tell why.

What do you recommend? I am thinking for applying AP renewal even though I never received the first one.
 
Reapply for AP. If you are on H1 just continue on H1. Using EAD causing lot of grief to the people in emergencies, as you need AP for travel.
