Hi All,

I have applied for 485 at CSC RD 10/9 ND 11/9. yet to get AP/EAD.
I am planning to travel in May 2002. by that time what are the chances
that the 485 will be approved ?
if not , by april my H1 stamp is expiring, so I will need to get a new
stamp from the US consulate or use the AP...which is better, what
   would you reccomend ?
I heard that even revalidation in st. louis are taking months, so even
if I send in my passport for visa revalidation in feb ( 60 days before
expiry ) can I get that done by May ?

   thanks a ton!

Is AP a better way to enter than H1 visa ?

after sept 11, I dont want to take chances with extra questioning
by the INS etc. not that I am suspect in any way..but why wave an
AP when H1 visa is more \'non eyebrow \' raising !

No Title

If you have a valid H1 visa stamp, you can enter using H1. ADvantage :
In case there is some problem with 485, you can still maintain your
H1 status. Disadvantage : You are using up your 6 year limit on H1.
If you have AP & EAD both, you can enter using AP. But you cannot go back to H1 status after that. If you have AP and no EAD, it is advisable to use your H1.
